ASICS GT-2000 15 Women’s Running Shoes
The ASICS GT-2000 15 Women’s Running Shoes are stability running shoes designed for women who want supportive daily training with soft, responsive cushioning. This women’s Standard B width model has an 8 mm heel drop and comes in Hazy Lilac / Taro Purple. Compared with the GT-2000 14, the GT-2000 15 reduces weight, improves cushioning and increases energy return, led by a softer FF BLAST MAX midsole with an additional 2 mm of foam and adaptive support from the 3D GUIDANCE SYSTEM.
FF BLAST MAX cushioning gives the GT-2000 15 a softer and more energetic underfoot feel. ASICS has reformulated the foam and added 2 mm compared with the previous model, providing more cushioning on landing while retaining a responsive feel as you move through toe-off.
A Trampoline outsole pod works with the midsole to capture more energy and enhance the bouncing effect of the foam during toe-off. This helps give the cushioning a responsive character rather than simply creating a softer platform.
Stability comes from ASICS' 3D GUIDANCE SYSTEM. The system uses platform geometry and controlled deformation to provide adaptive, on-demand stability. This is designed to help keep the stride smooth and balanced without creating an unnecessarily restrictive feel.
Rearfoot PureGEL technology adds impact cushioning at the back of the shoe. ASICS describes PureGEL as approximately 65% softer than its standard GEL technology, helping create a softer sensation when the heel contacts the ground.
The engineered woven upper uses a lightweight material that reduces the need for additional overlays. An EVA sockliner adds underfoot comfort inside the shoe.
ASICS uses two outsole rubbers to balance durability and traction. AHARPLUS rubber reinforces the heel, where ASICS states it is approximately three times more durable than standard outsole rubbers. Lower-density AHAR LO rubber is positioned in key outsole areas to provide reliable grip and traction while balancing durability.
Reflective details add visibility in low-light conditions, providing additional reflective brightness during early-morning or nighttime running.

How does the ASICS GT-2000 15 compare with the GT-2000 14?
The GT-2000 15 is lighter, more cushioned and designed to provide greater energy return than the GT-2000 14. Its reimagined FF BLAST MAX midsole uses a softer foam formulation with an additional 2 mm of cushioning, giving the newer model softer landings and a more responsive toe-off.
For existing GT-2000 runners, these changes make the cushioning update one of the main reasons to consider moving from the 14 to the 15 while retaining adaptive stability through the 3D GUIDANCE SYSTEM.

Cushioning
-
The material the absorbs the impact against the ground. The more cushioning utilised, the softer a shoe will feel underfoot.

-
During push off there is an even distribution from the front of the foot.
-
The foot lands on the outside of the heel, then rolls inward to absorb the shock and support body weight.
Overpronation
-
Low arches or flat feet.
-
Big and second toes do most of the work when the foot pushes off.
-
During contact with the ground, the foot lands on the outside of the heel, then rolls inwards (pronates) excessively, transferring your weight to the inner edge instead of the ball of the foot.
Drop
