Core Cover uses a die cast aluminium shell combined with dual layer viscoelastic PU foam. The outer shell handles high speed ball strikes, while the internal foam layers absorb and spread impact. This reduces the force transferred to the body and helps you stay focused after contact.

It’s been tested at speeds over 200 km per hour without visible indentation. That level of testing reflects real match conditions, especially for batting and close fielding where reaction time is limited.

Fit, movement and stability

The shaped design reduces bulk and removes pressure points, so it sits naturally in position. Flattened edges increase coverage and help redirect impact away from key areas.

For best performance, it needs to be worn in a jockstrap or compression short with a pouch. A secure fit is critical. If it shifts, protection drops off, so pairing it with the Cover Jockstrap is recommended.
