G-Form Volt Junior Football Shin Guards
The G-Form Volt Junior Football Shin Guards are lightweight, flexible shin guards designed for young football players who want impact protection without bulky equipment restricting their movement. Featuring G-Form's patented SmartFlex technology, a breathable compression sleeve and a shorter sleeve design, they provide a secure fit that moves naturally with the leg during training and matches.
The low-profile construction makes the Volt a practical choice for junior footballers who prefer a close-fitting alternative to traditional hard-shell shin guards.
SmartFlex Protection for Junior Football
The Volt Junior uses G-Form's patented SmartFlex technology, which remains soft and flexible during normal movement before stiffening on impact to help absorb force.
The body-mapped protective pads contour to the shin, allowing young players to run, turn and change direction without the rigid feel of traditional shin guards.
This combination of flexibility and impact protection is particularly useful for junior footballers who want protective equipment that feels comfortable throughout training and match play.
Breathable Compression Fit
The integrated compression sleeve uses breathable material to encourage airflow and help maintain comfort during activity.
A wide, plush elastic band at the top provides a secure fit, helping prevent the shin guard from sliding down during running and repeated changes of direction.
The soft elastic construction is designed to hold the pad in place without creating unnecessary discomfort around the calf.
The guards are also easy to put on and remove, making them convenient for junior players getting ready for training or matches.
Who are the G-Form Volt Junior Football Shin Guards best for?
The G-Form Volt Junior Football Shin Guards are best suited to young football players who want lightweight, flexible protection with minimal bulk around the lower leg.
They're particularly suitable for juniors who prefer a compression sleeve design rather than a traditional hard-shell guard with separate retaining straps.
The shorter sleeve, breathable construction and SmartFlex pads make them a practical option for regular football training and match play.

Frequently asked questions
Are G-Form Volt Junior Shin Guards suitable for young football players?
Yes. The G-Form Volt Junior Football Shin Guards are designed for young footballers who want lightweight, flexible shin protection. Their SmartFlex pads move naturally with the leg, while the breathable compression sleeve provides a secure fit during training and matches. Correct sizing is important for suitable protective coverage.
How does SmartFlex technology work?
G-Form SmartFlex technology remains soft and flexible during normal movement but stiffens when subjected to impact. This allows the Volt Junior Shin Guards to contour to the leg while helping absorb force during contact. The result is a different feel from traditional hard-shell shin guards.
What is the benefit of the shorter sleeve?
The G-Form Volt Junior features a reduced sleeve length to minimise unnecessary material around the calf. This creates a less restrictive feel while retaining a secure compression fit. It's particularly useful for young players who prefer lightweight protective equipment with fewer distractions during movement.
