Head Radical Team Padel Racket

HEAD Radical Team Padel Racket

The HEAD Radical Team Padel Racket is a versatile, control-focused racket designed for intermediate and advanced players who prefer a tactical playing style. Featuring a teardrop shape, low balance and comfortable fibreglass hitting surface, the Radical Team combines easy manoeuvrability with the precision needed to control rallies and dictate the pace of play.

Weighing 360 g, the Radical Team features an improved Control Foam core, Auxetic 2.0 technology and an updated drilling pattern for a more responsive feel and extended sweet spot. It is particularly suited to players who build points through controlled placement, consistent defence and well-timed attacking shots.

Teardrop Shape and Low Balance for Versatile Control

The Radical Team features a teardrop-shaped head, providing a balance between defensive control and attacking versatility.

Its low balance point makes the racket easier to manoeuvre, particularly during defensive exchanges and quick reactions close to the net.

For tactical players who prefer to control the rhythm of a rally, this combination allows for confident racket positioning and accurate shot placement without requiring an overly aggressive swing.

Improved Control Foam for Precision

The Radical Team features an updated Control Foam core, designed to provide a lighter construction with a drier, firmer impact feel.

This improved foam helps deliver a more defined response during ball contact, supporting precise placement and controlled shot-making.

Combined with the fibreglass hitting surface, the Control Foam balances comfort with the feedback needed to judge shot depth and direction.

Updated Drilling Pattern for a Larger Sweet Spot

HEAD has introduced a new drilling pattern to the Radical Team, designed to improve control and extend the effective sweet spot.

The larger hitting area helps provide a more consistent response when contact is made away from the centre of the racket face.

For intermediate and advanced players, this supports confidence during fast exchanges, defensive returns and shots made under pressure.

The updated drilling pattern works with the racket's teardrop shape to provide a versatile balance of control and playability.

Auxetic 2.0 Technology for Enhanced Feedback

The Radical Team 2026 incorporates Auxetic 2.0 technology, designed to improve the connection between the player and the ball.

The technology responds to impact, providing immediate feedback through the racket and supporting a more connected hitting experience.

This helps players judge contact during controlled volleys, defensive lobs and attacking shots.

Auxetic 2.0 also contributes to responsive power delivery, giving tactical players the ability to accelerate the ball when an attacking opportunity develops.
