Canterbury of NZ Samoa Raze Rugby Headgear

The Canterbury of NZ Samoa Raze Rugby Headgear is designed for rugby players who want comfortable, lightweight head protection with a distinctive Samoa design. Featuring 360-degree EVA foam padding, ventilation holes and a soft Lycra inner lining, it provides impact absorption and a secure fit while helping players stay comfortable throughout training and matches.

World Rugby approved, the Samoa Raze Headgear combines protective padding with practical features designed for the demands of contact rugby.

360-Degree EVA Foam Protection

The Samoa Raze Headgear features shock-absorbing EVA foam padding positioned around the head to help cushion impacts from different angles.

The durable foam does not readily absorb sweat, helping the headgear remain comfortable during physical activity.

This makes it a practical choice for rugby players who want padded protection during tackles, rucks and other contact situations.

As with all padded rugby headgear, it is important to understand that the padding cannot prevent concussion or eliminate the risk of head injury.

Secure Breakaway Chin Strap

The headgear features a soft, secure chin strap designed to release under high pressure.

This breakaway construction is intended to reduce the risk of injury associated with the strap becoming caught or subjected to excessive force during play.

The strap helps keep the headgear positioned comfortably during normal movement while incorporating a safety release mechanism.

Ventilation and Comfortable Lycra Lining

Ventilation holes throughout the headgear encourage airflow, helping manage heat during training and matches.

Inside, a plush Lycra lining provides a soft feel against the head and ears.

The lining is designed to minimise fabric movement and rustling around the ears, reducing unnecessary noise interference so players can remain focused on communication and play.
