Canterbury of NZ Speed Falcon Team SG Boots
The Canterbury of NZ Speed Falcon Team SG boots are soft ground rugby boots built for club players who need reliable traction in wet conditions. They suit senior school and adult players training and playing on winter grass fields. If you’re lining up on heavy New Zealand pitches, these are made for that job.
This is a practical speed focused option with traditional fit and proper metal stud grip where it counts.
Built for Soft Winter Grounds
The mixed stud outsole features six 13mm removable metal studs that are World Rugby approved. On soft or muddy grass, they bite into the surface to help with scrums, clean outs and explosive first steps. Compared to firm ground boots, you’ll get noticeably better traction when the pitch cuts up.
Lightweight Upper with Durable Build
The reinforced TPU upper keeps weight down while standing up to contact and abrasion. It has scratch and abrasion resistant properties, which is important through a long club season with multiple trainings each week.
Asymmetric lacing increases the strike zone and helps lock the foot in place during lateral movement. The neoprene collar and tongue make them easier to pull on and provide a comfortable, secure feel around the ankle.
Inside, the microfibre lining improves step in comfort and reduces friction over 80 minutes.

Who are these boots best suited to?
