The Kotahitanga Jersey is a celebration of the special place held by the Warriors in the hearts and minds of fans
NZ wide. The design is an updated interpretation of the jersey first worn by the Warriors in 2001 upon changing their name from ‘Auckland’ to ‘New Zealand’ and represents the welcoming nature of the Club - it emphasises that the Warriors club is for all of New Zealand and not just Auckland.
Colours for this interpretation have been updated to include more red and black, resulting in a pallet which not only honours the history of the Warriors but that of Canterbury and Christchurch also.
The jersey is finished with coloured flags at the upper back, designed to reflect the traditional colours of each NZ region.
