Mcdavid 493 Deluxe Back Support

The McDavid 493 Deluxe Back Support is a structured back support designed to help protect against strains and pulls while providing firm support around the lower back and core. It uses six strategically positioned steel stays, adjustable side pulls and breathable panels to provide a secure, customisable fit during training, sport and physical activity.

The six steel stays are the main support feature. They provide a firmer level of structure around the back, making the 493 a suitable option for customers looking for more support than a simple compression-style back belt.

The vented elastic side panels and hook and loop closures allow you to adjust the tension around the waist. This makes it easier to customise the level of compression and fit rather than relying on a fixed-size support.

The back section uses neoprene to provide thermal and compression support for the soft tissues around the lower back. Perforated and breathable sections help with heat and moisture management during use.

The McDavid 493 is designed as a unisex back support and is available in four sizes. It is black and uses a combination of mesh and support-panel materials.

WHO IS THE McDAVID 493 DELUXE BACK SUPPORT BEST FOR?

The McDavid 493 is best suited to athletes and active people who want firm, structured support around the lower back during physical activity. Its six steel stays make it particularly relevant for customers looking for a higher level of back support rather than a lightweight compression-only belt.

WHAT SHOULD YOU CONSIDER BEFORE BUYING?

The McDavid 493 is a structured support with six steel stays, so it is designed to provide considerably more support than a basic elastic back belt. If you are simply looking for light compression or a low-profile support, a less structured option may be more suitable.

Correct sizing is important. Measure your waist and compare the measurement with the McDavid size guide before ordering.

The product contains neoprene and the supplier information states that it is latex-free neoprene. The support panel also contains rubber, so customers with material or latex allergies should check the current product information before purchasing.
