All product orders are subject to our acceptance. We may cancel or refuse any order at our sole discretion without liability. If your payment has been processed and we cancel the order, we will issue a full refund.
We do not fulfil orders that appear to be for unauthorised drop-shipping or reselling purposes.
Placing a pre-order means you pay in advance for an item not currently in stock. Pre-orders can be cancelled at any time by contacting us and referencing your web order number.
Estimated delivery dates are provided on the product page but may be subject to change due to manufacturer or shipping delays.
If your order includes both pre-order and in-stock items, the available items will be shipped immediately, and the pre-order item(s) will follow separately.
At Players Sports, we stand behind the quality of the products we sell. In accordance with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, all goods sold by Players Sports come with guarantees that they will be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match any description provided.
If a product you purchase is found to be faulty, not fit for purpose, or fails to meet any of the consumer guarantees, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. We will always act in good faith to resolve any issue fairly and promptly, in compliance with New Zealand consumer law.
Faulty Items and Warranty Process
Any item believed to be faulty must be returned to Players Sports for inspection.
We will arrange an assessment, which may involve consultation with the product manufacturer, importer, or supplier.
A repair, replacement, or refund will be issued only once the fault has been verified and the claim approved.
Conditions for Warranty Claims
Proof of purchase (e.g. receipt or order confirmation) is required.
Claims must relate to manufacturing faults, not damage caused by misuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, accidental damage, or improper care.
Products that have been modified or altered may not be eligible for a warranty claim.
Special Consideration - Cricket Bats
Cricket bats are natural wood products and may wear or break over time depending on usage, preparation, and playing conditions. While we aim to support our customers in the event of premature breakage or fault, each cricket bat claim is assessed on a case-by-case basis to ensure fairness for both the customer and supplier.
If a bat has been knocked-in by Players Sports or an approved service, and has been properly maintained, we will advocate on your behalf with the brand or distributor for a suitable resolution.
For any product issue, we encourage customers to contact us as soon as possible so we can investigate and resolve it quickly. If you are unsure whether a fault may be covered under warranty, please get in touch with our team for advice.

Orders containing personalised products cannot be altered or cancelled once confirmed. This includes customised cricket bats and rackets.
Personalised products can only be returned if deemed to have a genuine manufacturing fault.

General Pricing Policy
All prices listed on our website and in-store are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST unless otherwise stated. We work to ensure pricing is accurate and up to date. If an error occurs in the pricing of a product, we reserve the right to correct it and either cancel or amend the order accordingly, notifying you of any changes.
Promotional Pricing
We offer discounts from time to time in accordance with Commerce Commission NZ guidelines. When advertising a discounted price, we compare it against the genuine previous selling price or the supplier’s Recommended Retail Price (RRP). Our advertised discounts reflect actual savings off a real, substantiated price.
We do not inflate prices to create misleading markdowns. If we show a percentage off, it is a legitimate reduction off the product’s prior price or RRP.
Clearance Items
Products marked as “Clearance” are discontinued or end-of-line stock. These items are displayed with the original full price (RRP) alongside the clearance price to clearly highlight the savings.
Clearance items are available in limited quantities and are removed from the website once sold out. We retain the original pricing for reference to provide transparent, accurate comparisons that help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
Promo Code Offers
Promo codes are offered periodically to provide a guaranteed minimum saving off the full-price (RRP) of items.
Promo codes apply to the full-price (RRP) of products only and do not stack with items already on sale, clearance, or included in bundle, combo, or pack pricing.
If an item is already discounted by less than the promo code’s advertised percentage, the code will override the existing discount and apply the full value of the code (e.g. if an item is 10% off but the promo code offers 20% off, the item will receive 20% off the RRP).
Promo codes do not apply to:
Everyday Low Price products
Gift vouchers
Teamwear or club apparel
Workshop, customisation, or stringing services
Only one promo code can be used per transaction.
Promo codes are valid only during the advertised promotional period and may be deactivated at any time in the event of misuse or system abuse.
Pricing Errors
While we aim for complete accuracy, errors can occur. If a pricing mistake is identified (in-store or online), we reserve the right to correct the error and either cancel or adjust affected orders. We will contact you if the revised price differs materially from what you paid.
Everyday Low Prices
Some items may be marked with “Everyday Low Price” tags, which indicate a consistent lower-than-RRP price that is not subject to promotional discounting. These items are excluded from promo code use and most promotional activity, as they are already offered at our best everyday rate.

Clubs or schools that receive rebate credits through an official agreement with Players Sports must redeem their credit based on the full RRP of eligible products.
Rebates cannot be used in conjunction with discounted prices, bundles, or promotional offers. Credit must be redeemed within the agreed timeframe and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred.
Customers who attended the Greenlane Grand Opening on 2 April 2025 and spent $50 or more in-store are eligible for 20% OFF full RRP at our Greenlane store until 1 April 2027.
Terms:

Immediate family members may use the benefit when referencing the original purchaser
Valid only for personal in-store purchases
Not valid for teamwear, sale items, services, or gift vouchers
Cannot be combined with other promotions
We reserve the right to withdraw this offer at any time if used outside of its intended purpose.
If returning a product that came with a promotional gift, the gift must also be returned (unused and in original condition) to be eligible for a refund or credit.
Players Sports may change or withdraw gifts with purchase based on stock availability, without notice.
