Have worn barricades since an achilles rupture while playing tennis. They are a heavier shoe, a little stiff, but I haven't found anything else that provides the stability for ankles and achilles that these do on court (happy to trade lightness for stabilityin my 40's on court). They also have great sole durability on all court surfaces and I've never destroyed the upper. A pair lasts me a season and I've brought them every season for 5 years. Keep to your standard fit for sizing, a little extra room in the toe box is good.
