Te Ao Marama – the world of light and new beginnings – inspires the 2025 NZ Warriors Indigenous Jersey. This design honours the club’s beginnings, 30 years since the club’s first steps into the NRL.

Kaokao (zigzag) patterns across the chest symbolise life’s journey, with the white space between them representing the first light of dawn — a moment of clarity, hope, and what’s still to come. On the back, the kaokao shifts to reflect the movement of a waka, navigating across open waters — honouring the legacy of past Warriors and the path they’ve forged.

Steeped in meaning, this jersey is more than a kit — it’s a tribute to history, culture, and the journey ahead.

Utilises Dynasty Sport’s cutting edge Ecotek fabric, which is made from ethically sourced recycled plastic bottles.
