The 2025 Puma Queensland Maroons Indigenous Jersey is a powerful tribute to heritage, unity and the legacy of the Maroons.
Designed by proud Indigenous artist Bianca Beetson, niece of rugby league Immortal, Arthur Beetson, with the artwork symbolising connection, leadership and pride.
Born in Roma, Arthur Beetson was not only the first Indigenous Australian to captain a national team - he also led Queensland in the inaugural State of Origin in 1980. His influence endures both on and off the field through the Arthur Beetson Foundation, supporting Indigenous Australians in health, education, sport, employment and business development.
