ASTROX NEXTAGE is designed in a muted colourway consisting of a black base with dark green accents, finished off with a matte finish, creating a luxurious and chic aesthetic.

  • Super Slim Shaft: The slimmest racket ever produced by YONEX vastly reduces air resistance whilst providing maximum feel.

  • Energy Boost CAP PLUS: Uniquely shaped cap which maximizes shaft performance. The front allows the shaft to flex, while the sides arch-shaped curve stabilizes the racquet face by preventing the shaft from twisting.

  • VDM Vibration Dampening Mesh: Vibration Dampening Mesh, VDM, is a stretchy mesh material rolled with the carbon to reduce unwanted vibrations.

Badminton racket grips/sizes should be big enough so that when holding the handle correctly (like shaking someone’s hand), the tip of your ring finger shouldn't touch your palm.

These days, most manufacturers are making rackets in a single size, so if you find the grip is too thin then you could apply an overgrip to the handle until you find a grip size/weight that you’re comfortable with.

Badminton racket sizes made simple:

  • 3u5 = 85-89g racket weight, 83mm circumferential grip size.

  • 4u5 = 80-84g racket weight, 83mm circumferential grip size.

    Excellent racket for early intermediate player. It is head heavy so it is not as nimble for fast paced rallies in the front court, but it feels great for attacking smashes. It feels similar to a mix of an Astrox 77 and 88 Tour. More advanced players might want a stiffer flex in the shaft but it’s perfect for my level. The anti-vibration tech actually works, as your hand feels less of every hit, but some people might want to feel the net shots. The paint finishing is very attractive, love the matte black and green details.
