The NZ Warriors Dear Warrior NRL Women’s Fit Jersey!
Made in collaboration with Lewis Brown (Warriors #151), the Dear Warrior Jersey is a tribute to the paths taken by players, staff, members and fans who find their way to the Warriors whanau.
At the heart of the design is a gel-gripper feature across the chest, mimicking the look and feel of a letter, a nod to the original welcome letter Brown received when he became an inaugural Warriors member in 1994. Vertical stripes rise toward the iconic Warriors club logo, representing the diverse and winding paths that connect people to the club.
The jersey’s colour palette is inspired by Brown’s ancestral homeland – the remote Chatham Islands – and the incredible story of the black robin. Once nearly extinct, with just five birds remaining in 1980, the black robin has since made a remarkable recovery. That same spirit of resilience, survival, and belief is deeply woven into the Warriors’ DNA, he said.
The Dear Warrior Jersey will be worn during the Round 12 clash against the Canberra Raiders.
