The Mitchell & Ness Larry Johnson Charlotte Hornets Road Swingman Jersey – 1992-93!

After an impressive rookie campaign in 1991-92, Larry Johnson continued to excel in his second year in the league. He was named to his first All-Star team, becoming the first Hornet to do so. He finished the season with averages of 22.1 points per game and 10.5 rebounds per game. He also led the league in minutes per game with 40.5.

The original Hornets were established in 1988 but relocated to New Orleans at the end of the 2001-02 season and became the New Orleans Hornets. In 2004, the Charlotte Bobcats were born as the NBA’s new expansion team. In 2013, the New Orleans Hornets announced a rebrand as the Pelicans and returned the Hornets name to Charlotte. The Bobcats renamed as the Hornets in the 2014-15 season.
