Brief History & Background

Back in late 2012, nestled in the heart of Newmarket, Auckland, we embarked on our journey with a simple dream – to provide top-notch cricket gear to players across New Zealand. Thus, Players Cricket was born, marking the humble beginnings of our adventure.

As time marched on, so did we, steadily expanding our horizons to embrace other beloved Kiwi sports. With each passing month and year, we carefully and strategically introduced new categories, welcoming Players Netball, Players Rugby, Players Football, Players Rackets (Tennis, Badminton, Squash, Pickleball, Padel, and Table Tennis), Players Hockey, Players Rugby League, and Players Basketball into the fold.

We now cater for most major New Zealand sporting codes along with our Players Footwear (Running Shoes), Players Fan Gear, Players Outlet, and Players Club & School sub-brands which further streamline the shopping experience for our wide range of valued customers.
