Albion was established at the time of World Series Cricket in 1977 out of Little Albion Street in Surrey Hills, Australia, when media mogul Kerry Packer’s revolutionary approach to cricket resulted in the desire for batsmen to be better protected.
Throughout the 1980’s and 90’s, cricket players from around the world looked to ‘the albion’ for better head protection, while the company continued to research and introduce technologies to ensure a more comfortable and durable helmet, at the same time creating a look that belongs to the sport by combining the old with the new to produce a modern day classic.
Now over 35 years old, albion continues to capture the essence of safety in sport, by combining performance and protection to safeguard the wellbeing of the athlete.
